In September 2003 the Bulldogs travelled to Rimini, Italy, where they played two matches against a local Italian side, Titans Romagna, and the Italy under 25 side.

The first year of Bulldogs Cheerleaders saw a fantastic Bulldogs team, coached by the infamous Tony and Wayne, win both matches easily and impressively.
